Most insurance companies require jewellery valuations to be updated normally every 3 years.

Depending on your policy, in some instances to be fully insured, your jewellery items will require an up to date valuation. If you are in the unfortunate situation where you need to make a claim, following loss, damage or theft, an up-to-date valuation is paramount in ensuring a claim can be settled accurately.

Precious items such as jewellery and watches can fluctuate in value, which is why it is important to keep your valuations up-to-date. Our Valuations are completed in house by a Jewellery expert who carries the professional qualifications DGA (Association Diamond Diploma) and FGA. The initials FGA mean that person is a Fellow of the Gemmological Association of Great Britain and the initials DGA mean that they have passed the Association's Diamond Diploma. They also mean that the person is a member of the Association.

You don't need to be local to arrange a valuation, your items can be posted to us please contact us on the below form so we can give you details on exact cost if more than one item and process.

Your items will be carefully examined, recording all of the pertinent information relating to your items, along with taking digital photographs. Once completed, you will receive a document folder with your valuation schedule providing you with a detailed description and accurate valuation of your items.

You will also be advised on any repairs you may want to consider, to maintain your items in top condition.
